Data Security & Electronic Waste

What's the best thing to do with a smart phone or other device when you’re done with it? Sell it? Recycle it? Throw it in the trash? This program goes over the environmental, security and money aspects of this choice that people often face. The hands-on program includes taking apart an electronic device, and a tour of a modern electronics recycling facility. Funds for this free camp were provided through a National Science Foundation (NSF) award.
