Alba possesses a solid psychology, project management, and data analysis background. She was formerly employed at USAID Private Sector Partnerships to Strengthen Higher Education Activity. Her areas of expertise include mental health, research, and strategic implementation of education programs. Her analytical and research skills were developed while working as a Research Supervisor for UNICEF and the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS), where she oversaw the development of field data collection methodologies and led field teams for the MICS6 national survey. She also contributed to education policy as an Administrative Assistant of Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), carrying out data collection and analysis for quantitative educational research and the liaison with students and other institutions.

Her career background also includes working as a Counseling Psychologist at Empatia Clinic, where she provided mental behavioral evaluations and used various psychometric and diagnostic tools to assist clients. Her commitment to public welfare also achieved her volunteer efforts during Pandemic as an Online Counseling Psychologist at the University of Prishtina. In addition, Alba worked as a Psychologist at NGO "Klubi Deshira", where she conducted diagnosis and treatment of clients with intellectual disability disorders, and other activities within various institutions. Alba's community work as organizer at GDG Prishtina, organizing and coordinating workshops, hackathons, and large events such as Google DevFest 2024, with the objective of collaborating and exchanging information within the developer community. She is also well-versed in several skills such as project management, statistical analysis, data integrity and collection, critical thinking, and usage of different tools such as Google Analytics, CITI Program on Social & Behavioral IRB-02, SPSS, etc.

Alba’s expertise in student development and psychology informs her student-centered approach, ensuring personalized support for each student. She provides the academic community at RIT Kosovo with significant knowledge and support.
