Bio
Originally from Florence, Italy, Mr. Scarito has an academic background spanning literature, linguistics, education, and transformative learning. He holds a BA in Modern Literature from the University of Florence, an MS in Linguistics from Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, and an MA in Education and Innovation from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Transformative Learning in the Global Community, again at Webster University, with research focus on epistemology and social justice in educational settings.
Mr. Scarito began his teaching career in Italy, before moving to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where he gained experience in multicultural and international educational settings. During his time there, his professional interests increasingly focused on leadership and innovation in education.
He currently lives and works in Pristina, Kosovo. In addition to his experience in education, Mr. Scarito has an extensive background in fine-dining restaurant management and has lived across different countries as part of an internationally mobile family. He has also been a musician and writer since his teenage years and continues to publish his work online.
