As Adjunct at RIT Kosovo, she teaches Introduction to Academic English. Her professional career spans teaching and tutoring modern languages and literature, such as English, Spanish, German, Dutch, and French to advanced placement students. Outside of education, she has worked as a local and international consultant for several organizations including embassies. In her recent research work she focused on the area of enhancing the autonomy and motivation of teenagers and young adults.

Before joining RIT Kosovo, she worked as Sustainability Coordinator at the American School of The Hague (the Netherlands) where she empowered and guided senior students in innovative research-orientated, and social responsible project learning, contributing to a sustainable global society; implemented sustainability curriculum links; and identified areas for environmental improvement of the campus premises. She organized a student-led international conference about sustainability in the corporate world with representatives from local start-ups, multinationals  (Ikea, Shell, Heineken, European Space Research and Technology Centre: ESTEC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Brenda chaired the ECO-committee, arranged for student-led environmental research, monitored and evaluated the Green Award re-accreditation process, and conducted a sustainability audit.

During the time when she worked as Creativity, Action, Service Learning (CAS) Coordinator and Digital Citizenship instructor at the American International School of Johannesburg (South Africa) she taught seniors appropriate, responsible, and safe behavior within a digital environment. The CAS curriculum enhances learning through experience by engaging students in real world-situations and reflection on ethical implications of actions, and global engagement. In the Student Learning Center, Brenda supported language and literature students with special educational needs. Furthermore, she designed, implemented and developed an interactive Skills4Studying program based upon student needs and the habits of highly effective people, in order to improve academic achievements and personal growth of adolescents.
