Information Technology Services (ITS)

Information Technology Services (IT Office) supports the technology environment of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) by managing campus computing systems, network infrastructure, classroom technology, and institutionally licensed software. IT services are designed to enable teaching, learning, and administrative operations for students, faculty, and staff.

Computing & Learning Environments

RIT Kosovo provides centrally managed computing and learning environments to support academic instruction and professional development.

  • Computer Laboratories
    Campus computer labs are equipped with high-performance desktop computers and course-specific software to support academic and technology-intensive programs.

  • Classroom Technology
    All classrooms are equipped with instructional technology, including classroom computers, audio systems, and display equipment to support teaching and presentations.

Student Laptop Program

RIT Kosovo operates a Laptop Program for full-time undergraduate students, providing an institution-issued notebook computer for academic use during the undergraduate program. The program supports flexible and technology-enhanced learning and is governed by institutional policies regarding use and responsibility.

Network & Wireless Access

The campus is fully covered by a secure wired and wireless network that provides internet access for students, faculty, staff, and authorized guests. Network services are centrally managed to support academic and administrative activities and are subject to institutional acceptable-use and security policies.

Printing Services

Student printing is available through centrally managed printers located on campus. Printing services operate through individual prepaid accounts and are intended for academic use.

Software & Applications
ITS manages institutionally licensed software used in campus computing environments.

  • Campus-managed computers operate on Microsoft Windows 11.
  • Core productivity software includes Microsoft Office 365, provided through institutional licensing.
  • Specialized academic software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud and other discipline-specific applications, is available in designated computer labs based on curricular needs.

Software access and support are provided in accordance with licensing agreements and institutional policies.
