Global Behavioral Health Scholarship and Service Symposium

Prishtina, Kosovo – RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) College proudly hosted a visit from Eileen Devitt, the Mission Director for the USAID Mission in Kosovo, on Wednesday, May 8th. Mission Director Eileen Devitt was joined by Mr. Alex Albertine, Director of the Office for Economic Growth in Kosovo, Mr. Eric Guetschoff, Private Enterprise Officer, and by Ms. Merita Teliqi-Devaja, Project Management Specialist at USAID Kosovo. The visit included a series of engaging discussions and a campus tour, underscoring the collaborative efforts between USAID and RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) for inclusive and accessible higher education and technology in the region.

Artesa Qela, a freshman student at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) pursuing a degree in Computing and Information Technologies (CIT), has achieved a remarkable milestone after an intensive five-month research journey under the mentorship of Dr. Debabrata Samanta and Dr. Blerta Prevalla-Etemi.

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of three workshops as part of the STEFORA Project, coordinated by the RIT K Faculty Development Center. These workshops served as follow-up activities, where our faculty who participated in the Advanced Training activities with EU partner institutions in Sweden and Ireland, shared their insights with faculty, and administrative staff in our institution.

On May 2, 2024, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Cynthia Cook, Deputy Political Economic Chief at the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, as a guest speaker in the Rhetoric of Terrorism Class taught by Ms. Teuta Avdimetaj, Adjunct Professor at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K).
