RIT Kosovo Welcomes Reid Pierce as New Faculty Member

RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Reid Pierce as a new faculty member, teaching World History Since 1500 and Foundations of Public Policy.

Mr. Pierce is an interdisciplinary academic whose work bridges history, global politics, philosophy, and environmentalism. He holds a BA in History from the University of Arkansas, an MA in Eastern Classics from St. John’s College (Santa Fe), a JD from the University of New Mexico School of Law, an MBA from EDHEC Business School in France, and an Ed.M. in Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Ecology, Spirituality, and Religion at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

His professional and academic journey has taken him across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the United States, with long-term experiences in India, Nepal, France, Italy, and Australia. Now based in Kosovo, he brings a wealth of global perspective to his teaching.

“At RIT Kosovo, I am excited to help students critically connect history and public policy to the global challenges we face today,” said Mr. Pierce. “I look forward to bringing my international academic and professional experiences into the classroom and learning alongside my students.”

At RIT Kosovo, Mr. Pierce will integrate his diverse expertise into the classroom, helping students critically connect historical events, political systems, and public policy to today’s global challenges.
