Our Alumna Flying High in Aviation Industry

She oversees a team of agents at both main airports in the company’s core locations, Pristina and Tirana International airports. Moreover, Mrs. Hallaqi is also in charge of arranging charter flights for high-end clients, urgent air ambulances, cargo flights, evacuation flights, and more. Her efforts have facilitated the transportation of numerous Kosovar and Albanian patients abroad for essential medical treatment.

Recognized for her expertise and contributions, Mrs. Hallaqi has been featured in prestigious aviation publications such as “Business Air News”, “Eva”, and “Bart International”, showcasing the exceptional services offered by her team of experienced aviation professionals.

She attributes her success to the invaluable education she received at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), which not only provided her with academic excellence but also connected her with her first foreign employer through the Co-op and Career department. Starting her journey as a "Charter Sales Executive" for a Dubai-based aircraft charter broker company, RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) equipped her with the skills and insights necessary to thrive in the global business arena and implement innovative strategies in her home country. Her proficiency in English, a crucial asset in her field, was enhanced at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), enabling her to communicate effectively with international crews and passengers.

“I would have never imagined working for the aviation industry and still be living in Kosovo. I always wanted to avoid leaving my country for more opportunities, but I guess this is what RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) did for me: opened unexpected doors and taught me that the sky’s the limit if we only believe and work hard”.

The new framework aims to develop the national innovation system through increasing the efficiency of the use of industrial technology, its continuous upgrading, as a basis for sustainable social and economic development.

    CIT-RITK Team's Collaborative Research Visit at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, Austria

    The CIT-RIT K Team recently undertook a collaborative research visit to St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Niederösterreich, Austria on April 8, 2024. This visit featured a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering academic exchange and innovation. Prof. Alexander Adrowitzer, the Academic Director of Digital Innovation and Research at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, extended an invitation to the CIT-RITK Research Team. Led by Professor Debabrata Samanta, the team included two exceptional students, Dea Tahiraj and Dijar Hashani, from the Department of Computer and Information Technologies (CIT).
