This research is the result of a collaborative effort led by Prof. Blerta Prevalla Etemi and Prof. Debabrata Samanta, together with Diella Doli, Dalina Canhasi, Lea Deshishku.

Their combined vision, mentorship, and technical expertise have been instrumental in bringing the project to life.

Prof. Blerta Prevalla Etemi played a central role in steering the research direction and ensuring the system’s user-centered design aligns with practical financial needs. Meanwhile, Prof. Debabrata Samanta brought key expertise in system architecture and data analytics to the project.

The paper introduces a dynamic and user-focused web-based system that enables individuals to better manage their personal finances through real-time tracking, smart budgeting tools, and personalized financial recommendations.

“Smart Finances” is designed to make financial planning more accessible, especially for young adults and emerging professionals. By leveraging data analytics, the system interprets user behavior and spending patterns to deliver actionable insights and tailored financial guidance.

This achievement underscores the value of interdisciplinary teamwork and faculty-student collaboration. Diella Doli, Dalina Canhasi, and Lea Deshishku made substantial contributions to the system’s design, development, and testing phases while demonstrating how student innovation thrives under thoughtful mentorship.

We congratulate the entire team on this remarkable milestone and look forward to their presentation at ICDAM 2025, where their work will contribute to global discussions on how data and technology can shape more effective, inclusive financial solutions.
