Empowering Change Through Economics: The Story of RIT Kosovo Alumna Sytrime
Sytrime is an economist specializing in international trade, sustainability, and private-sector development. After graduating from RIT Kosovo with a degree in Economics and Statistics, she built a career spanning public institutions, international organizations, and the private sector. Throughout her professional journey, she has led policy reforms, contributed to high-level negotiations, and worked on ESG, circular economy, and trade-related initiatives across Kosovo and the Western Balkans. In addition to her professional work, she serves as a mentor and board member, supporting young women in STEM and empowering rural women entrepreneurs. Today, she continues to advance inclusive and sustainable economic growth through research, leadership, and advocacy.
RIT Kosovo played a defining role in shaping Sytrime’s analytical thinking, leadership skills, and passion for public impact. The university’s emphasis on critical thinking, real-world problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning provided a strong foundation for her work in economics, trade, and sustainability.
