RIT Kosovo (A.U.K.) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Valon Raca as a new faculty member
Dr. Raca holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Vienna, where he specialized in high-performance heterogeneous computing. He continues to serve as an external lecturer at the University of Vienna, teaching courses on parallel architectures and programming models, and has previously held an assistant professorship at the University of Prishtina, where he taught computer architecture, parallel systems, and software engineering.
His academic research focuses on runtime systems, heterogeneous clusters, and high-performance computing, reflecting his deep engagement with advanced computational methods that drive innovation in modern computing environments.
Beyond academia, Dr. Raca brings significant industry experience from the ICT sector, having worked extensively in system engineering for high-frequency trading and fintech industries. His blend of research expertise and hands-on professional experience offers students a unique opportunity to connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
