RIT Kosovo CIT Student Redon Istogu Wins First Place at Healathon
RIT Kosovo (RITK) proudly celebrates CIT student Redon Istogu, who secured 1st place in the DTH Lab Challenge at the Pristina Innovate Healthcare Healathon, held from 3–5 April 2025 at TechPark Prishtina, Kosovo.
The three-day competition brought together 13 teams, approximately 100 participants, and international experts from China, India, and Switzerland, positioning the event as a significant platform for innovation and cross-border collaboration in healthcare technology.

As team leader, Redon Istogu applied knowledge gained from ISTE_240_500_Web_MobileII to structure the project from the outset - defining roles, coordinating the workflow, and ensuring alignment throughout the three-day challenge. Serving as the team’s lead presenter, he effectively translated the technical solution into a clear and compelling pitch that resonated with both the audience and the international jury.
Representing RIT Kosovo as the sole student on a cross-institutional team, Redon brought the institution’s presence to a highly competitive international stage and contributed to a winning outcome.
