RIT Kosovo continues to build on a strong foundation of international recognition, academic quality, and continuous improvement.

This year, Rochester Institute of Technology in New York received its institutional reaccreditation through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. This accreditation also covers RIT’s approved additional locations, including RIT Kosovo, further reinforcing the value and international recognition of the RIT degree earned by students in Kosovo.

This important milestone comes during a significant period for RIT Kosovo’s own quality assurance and accreditation processes. Following the recent ATMAE accreditation visit, the ATMAE decision is expected after review of the visiting team’s recommendations report during the ATMAE Annual Conference in November 2026. In addition, last week’s visit by Kosovo Accreditation Agency experts represents another important step in RIT Kosovo’s continued commitment to academic quality and institutional development.

External review processes provide valuable opportunities to reflect on progress, strengthen academic quality, and confirm the continued advancement of the institution. RIT Kosovo is proud to be part of a globally recognized university system while continuing to serve Kosovo and the region through high-quality American education.

We look forward to the next steps in these accreditation processes and remain grateful to our students, faculty, staff, alumni, industry partners, and wider RIT community for their continued contribution to RIT Kosovo’s success.
