RIT Kosovo Student Co-Leads Applied Cybersecurity Training at Regional Conference in Skopje

RIT Kosovo (RITK) highlights the contribution of its student Dalina Canhasi from the CIT department at the National Training Conference on AI & Cybersecurity, hosted by Mother Teresa University in Skopje.

The conference gathered students, faculty, and industry participants from across the region, creating a dynamic environment for applied learning and collaboration in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Alongside regional academic partners, including the American Academy of Technology Tirana (AATT), participants engaged in practical discussions and hands-on training activities addressing real-world cyber threats and defense mechanisms.

Guided by her mentor, Dr. Debabrata Samanta, Canhasi played a central role in the conference’s applied learning component. She co-led an interactive workshop session that demonstrated how cyberattacks are structured and executed in controlled, simulated environments, while also guiding participants through key prevention strategies and defensive responses.

The session emphasized active participation, allowing attendees to identify vulnerabilities, analyze attack patterns, and implement mitigation techniques in real time.

Through her leadership in delivering this workshop, Canhasi demonstrated strong technical capability, confidence, and instructional skills. Her contribution, under the academic guidance of Dr. Samanta, reflects RIT Kosovo’s commitment to experiential learning and the development of student expertise in high-demand fields such as cybersecurity.
