Streamlining Curricular Development Processes and Establishment of the Task Force for Curricular Development

On December 14, team of the project “Streamlining Curricular Development Processes and Establishment of the Task Force for Curricular Development”, funded by the University Support Grant Program of the U.S. Embassy in Prishtina and administered by KUSA, and implemented by RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), organized the kick-off meeting, where all the project stakeholders were informed about the project goals and milestones.

The main purpose of the project is to strengthen the capacities of HEIs and all other involved actors in Kosovo for coordination, synergy and development of new and sought-after curricula in line with labor market demand and in a timely manner, especially in the ICT and Energy related markets in Kosovo; and the project will be developed through three milestones, namely the three workshops which will be organized with the representatives of the Industry sector; representatives of the Higher Education Institutions; and the final workshop will gather the representatives of the leading Institutions of Kosova, universities, donor agencies, and representatives of the Industry sector, where the findings and the recommendations of the first two workshops will be shared. The ultimate goal is the creation of a Task Force for Curricular Development in Kosovo.

    CIT-RITK Team's Collaborative Research Visit at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, Austria

    The CIT-RIT K Team recently undertook a collaborative research visit to St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Niederösterreich, Austria on April 8, 2024. This visit featured a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering academic exchange and innovation. Prof. Alexander Adrowitzer, the Academic Director of Digital Innovation and Research at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, extended an invitation to the CIT-RITK Research Team. Led by Professor Debabrata Samanta, the team included two exceptional students, Dea Tahiraj and Dijar Hashani, from the Department of Computer and Information Technologies (CIT).
