How to Book Your Test
Before you book:
Check that you’ve chosen the right type of test for you.
Make sure you have a valid ID document – a passport or national identity card if you have a Kosovo nationality and a passport if you are not from Kosovo. You’ll need to bring this with you on test day. It must be valid at the time of booking and on the test day. If you're under 18, your parents will also need to complete online the Parent consent for candidates under 18 form. IELTS is not recommended for anyone under 16.

Preparing for IELTS
Prepare for your IELTS test with IELTS Ready, the British Council’s free preparation package. Sign up to access IELTS Ready Member and start your preparation before you book. Once you’ve booked your test you will get access to IELTS Ready Premium which includes mock tests, live expert classes, personal dashboard to track your progress and more.
Results
Your IELTS test results will be detailed on your E-test Report Form and are available with 1-5 days (2 days on average) for IELTS on computer.
If you wish to make an enquiry about your test results, or have any section of the test re-marked, you can submit an Enquiry on Results (EOR) request up to six weeks after your test date via the online Test Taker Portal. There is a charge for having a section re-marked, but this will be refunded if your score increases for any section of the test.
