Krystle Ellis BS ’09 MS’15 is a graduate of the College of Liberal Arts, receiving her M.S. in Communications & Media Technology with a focus in Business and Public Policy and B.S. in Public Relations and Advertising, minoring in International Relations. Ellis has been featured in multiple nationwide publications and news sources like

USA Today because of her commitment to the Rochester community. As a trusted voice, Krystle has received the Rochester Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award and has been a finalist of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce IGNITE Future Leaders Award and prestigious International Young Athena Award.

She has three children and is married to her husband Ricardo, who is also an R.I.T. graduate. Often described as the “culture broker”, Ellis is known for helping organizations and individuals with pulling out the best from within. As the owner of Ellis K Consulting, her multidimensional consulting firm specializes in catapulting businesses in varying industries to the next level through donor cultivation, data analytics, strategic leadership planning, policy remastering, and executive coaching. She also understands the need to marry Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) to organizational functioning and community building. Her lifetime goal is to help organizations to leverage the strengths and diversities of people by implementing system‐wide change methods through a positive and appreciative lens. Working with large organizations such as the University of Rochester Medical Center, USA Today, Rochester Police Department, Willow Domestic Violence Center, St. John Fisher College and more, Krystle advocates for women’s rights, equal access to healthcare for children, the international right to have clean water, and inclusive policies. She believes in having transparent and courageous conversations that inspire people to soar higher.
