Benso translation published in SUNY Press series
Silvia Benso, professor of philosophy, had a translation of Italian philosopher Elena Pulcini’s volume, Between Care and Justice: The Passions as Social Resource, published in the SUNY Press series in Contemporary Italian Philosophy. The volume addresses two fundamental questions: Why care for others when we are not bound by personal relationships and why commit to justice when it does not personally affect us?
