Saunders Graduate Students Present Research

Three Saunders graduate students presented their work at the Graduate Showcase, on April 9, 2026, in the Sklarsky Glass Box Theater.

The Showcase is an annual event where students share their intellectual achievements with the community. The day includes poster presentations, oral presentations, and visual exhibitions.

Among the presenters were:

Dharshan Venu ’27 (MS business analytics), advised by Victor Perotti, interim department chair for MIS, marketing, and analytics. Topic: Bayesian mixture models with copula attribution for synthetic data generation.

Manju Mohan Lnu ’26 (MBA), advised by Shubbhobrata Palit, visiting assistant professor of supply chain management. Topic: Artificial Intelligence Proliferation in the United States

Karalin Jenitha Jayakumar ’26 (MBA). Topic: AeroSplit: Decoupling Passenger and Cargo Logistics to Rethink Commercial Aviation Systems.

Jayakumar won the award for Oral Presentation—3-Minute Short Format.

These students’ achievements exemplify the research opportunities at Saunders that are available to students at every level, undergraduate, master’s and Ph.D. All students can get a start with supporting research through the Student Research Initiative (SRI) program. Student research plays an integral role in supporting Saunders faculty research, which is published in the world’s most respected, peer-reviewed journals and academic publications.
