Saunders Hosts CFA Research Challenge
Saunders College of Business hosted a regional-level competition of the 2026 CFA Institute Research Challenge, Saturday, February 7. “The CFA Institute’s annual global equity research competition provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis, widely regarded as a prominent example of experiential learning in finance.” Hao Zhang, a finance professor and the director of the BS Finance program and MS Finance program, secured Saunders’ opportunity to host the competition.
Notably, this was the first time RIT has hosted the event in the past 15 years, which offered Saunders the opportunity to showcase its new facilities built through its 25-million dollar building expansion.
“Bringing students, faculty, and business professionals together is really the culture at RIT,” said Jacquie Mozrall, the dean of Saunders College of Business. “When we are able to do that in a space like this, good things happen.
