Bio
Philip Gelsomino II joined the Accounting Department in 2013 and teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate accounting, tax, and entrepreneurship courses at the Rochester, NY and Beijing China campuses. He earned his Masters Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovative Ventures from RIT in 2018 and his Bachelors of Science in Accounting also from RIT in 1986. After completion of his Bachelors Degree he started his own CPA Firm, providing income tax, accounting, and audit services to over 1,200 individual and corporate clients. Philip later became the CEO of The Restaurant Group LLC, a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery franchisee, which constructed and operated seven restaurants in Western New York.
