Fifth-year mechanical engineering technology student Graham Cullen has incorporated his love of cars and anything motorsports into his education and his career.

Nearly 230 companies will visit the RIT campus on Sept. 21 for the university-wide career fair, and around 75 employers stay for the interview day on Sept. 22. The career fair will return to its original two-day format for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

RIT faculty members Jennifer Bailey and Cynthia Tawaf were each named 2022 KEEN Engineering Unleashed Fellows for outstanding leadership in undergraduate engineering education.

More than 1,500 students from 100 national and international collegiate race teams competed June 2-5 at RIT’s Gordon Field House and the Hogback Hill Motocross site in Palmyra, N.Y. Several teams aced the course, but at the end of the weekend, RIOT Racing, RIT’s Baja race team, conquered the field.

Rochester Institute of Technology will host the 2022 Baja SAE Collegiate Competition on June 2-5. Volunteers are needed for judging student design and on-track events taking place at the university and at Hogback Hill Motocross site in Palmyra, N.Y.

Forbes has identified a few of the RIT alumni set to define the next decade—and beyond. Two RIT alumni—and a third just a few months shy of the age cut-off—were named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2022. Jackie Wiley ’16 (game design and development) was honored in the Games category, and Dylan Ayrey ’15 (computer engineering) was named in the Enterprise Technology category.
