Colby Rehearsal Studios

Opening August 2023, Colby Rehearsal Studios A and B are a result of a new partnership between RIT’s School of Performing Arts, RIT Housing, and the Center for Residence Life. Studios A and B are located on the A-level of Eugene Colby Hall C, D, E (building 33). These studios provide students with additional and much-needed rehearsal space, further enhancing the RIT residential experience by infusing performing arts in on-campus living quarters.

Studio A (Room A132) is 634 square feet and equipped with wood flooring (non-sprung), wall-length mirrors, integrated AV technology (digital display, sound system, room recording, and playback), and portable dance bars.

Studio B (Room A134) is 124 square feet and has five musician chairs and music stands. This space is ideal for smaller (4-5 person) group rehearsals.
