RIT Alumni Awards

alumni award poster

The RIT Alumni Association is proud to honor 11 exceptional alumni who have brought distinction at the highest level to RIT through professional, community, or philanthropic achievements.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards are bestowed annually upon an alum from each college within RIT. Each year, the colleges name a deserving graduate who has performed with distinction at the highest levels of their chosen profession; or who has contributed significantly to the advancement and leadership of noteworthy civic, philanthropic, or service organizations over the course of many years. Those honored have brought distinction to their colleges and RIT.

In addition to our Distinguished Alumni Award recipients, we are honored to announce our 2021-2022 Outstanding Alumni Awards winners, Sudhakar 'Bal' Dixit MBA '74 and Anita Dixit MS '91. Established by the Office of the President in 1952, this is the highest honor the university can bestow upon a graduate in recognition of professional accomplishments as well as service and generosity to the university.
