RIT students, faculty, staff and Osher members are part of a 12-day lineup of more than 500 eclectic performances in this year’s KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival, Sept. 10-21 in Rochester. RIT also is a major educational sponsor of the community collaborative event, now in its eighth year.

A feature-length screenplay written by an assistant professor in RIT's School of Film and Animation is receiving significant industry attention as she advances her moving coming-of-age story toward production.

A sculpture by metals and jewelry design professor Carlos Caballero-Perez was recently installed in Fairport, with the piece representing a "Connection" to the village's history. 

The Outstanding Graduate Woman Achievement award was established to raise awareness of graduate students and their accomplishments. This year's award was presented to Mireya Salinas, who earned her MFA this May and spoke at commencement as the College of Art and Design graduate delegate.
