Editorial Design / GRDE 418 Positive/ Negative Magazine Vol. 10 The final issue

This is a sampling of articles and pages in Positive/Negative Magazine Volume 10, produced in fall semester 2017.

The theme for this tenth and final issue is Humanism, which is indicated by the use of hand-drawn outlined people on the covers and in the interior pages. The cover includes spot varnish of of high key imagery, so the viewer must interact with the magazine in order to fully appreciate the subtle quality of the messaging.

We are very appreciative of all of the support and accolades that this project has received during its 10 year life. Thank you.

This volume received the Silver Award for Publication from the Rochester Advertising Federation (ADDYS) in March, and a Gold Award from the national ADDYS.
This volume has also been recognized as a Semi-Finalist in Social/Print/Photography in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards. Award season is underway, and updates
will be provided accordingly.
