Accounting and Analytics Catapults Graduates into Advanced Accounting Careers
Accounting analytics is crucial for answering questions based on the massive amounts of data a company gathers—gaining insights and predicting outcomes, among other results. The newly revised master of science in accounting and analytics from Saunders College of Business provides students with the tools to be leaders in managing internal and external data related to accounting information using cutting-edge accounting technologies such as AI, advanced analytics, Big Data, and financial analytics. Courses are taught by highly ranked management information systems faculty.
Leveraging RIT’s deep technical expertise, the accounting and analytics program gives students hands-on experience with R and Python computer languages and Tableau data visualization software, introduces them to Structured Query Language (SQL) and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP), and helps them grasp essential technologies such as blockchain. The program ranks #25 among Best Master’s of Accounting by Eduniversal, 2022; and #49 for Best Master’s in Accounting by The Financial Engineer (TFE) Times, 2023.
