RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) welcomes Ambassador William G. Walker on campus

The President and Dean of Faculty, Dr. Kamal Shahrabi was pleased to receive at a meeting Mr. William G. Walker, former U.S. Ambassador and former head of the OSCE Kosovo Verification Mission. During the meeting, President Shahrabi thanked Ambassador Walker for his important role in supporting RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) in different capacities throughout the years.

Ambassador Walker previously served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), providing visionary leadership and vital contribution during the early stages of its establishment. In its current role as an Honorary Board Member, Ambassador Walker continues to be a strong supporter and advocate for RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) and our mission to provide an outstanding American education in Kosovo and beyond.  President. Shahrabi and Ambassador Walker had a thorough conversation on the institution's growth in recent years, with a focus on the record increase in student enrollment and the goals for campus expansion and related development plans.

During his visit at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K), Ambassador Walker had also the opportunity to greet members of the RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) community, including staff and faculty, who were honored to meet with Ambassador Walker. During his brief remarks, Ambassador Walker expressed how pleased he was to see the progress of RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) throughout these years. As Ambassador Walker expressed, “I am proud of all of you; over the years, this institution has accomplished a lot. In particular, I am very glad to see the rise in the number of female staff members and students” which according to Ambassador Walker is a testament to their hard work and dedication.
