Staff and faculty recognized at Celebration of Teaching and Scholarship
Three faculty and staff members in Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Art and Design (CAD) were honored with Provost’s Awards at the annual Celebration of Teaching and Scholarship on April 17.
The event recognizes members of the RIT community who contribute significantly to student learning and academic scholarship.
The CAD honorees for the 2017-18 academic year were:
• Alex Lobos, associate professor and graduate director of industrial design, was a recipient of an Eisenhart Award for Outstanding Teaching. Learn more about why Lobos was recognized.
• Paul Muenzer, CAD academic advisor, received an Excellence in Academic Advising Award. Muenzer advises students studying media arts and technology, advertising photography, undeclared photography and photographic sciences.
• Stan Rickel, associate professor of industrial design, won an Excellence in Faculty Mentoring Award.
