| Job Description | INTERNAL/EXTERNAL JOB POSTING (Job Posting #2021-92) TITLE: Overnight Awake Counsellor POSITION STATUS: Full-Time – Temporary (6 months) (Non-Union) SCHEDULE: Wednesday to Monday -11:00pm to 9:00am REPORTS TO: Program Manager POSITION SUMMARY: The Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (BRCCED) is a provincial leader in the Deaf community. Our mission is to provide care and opportunities in a communication-rich environment that enhances the quality of life of those we serve. We are a highly motivated, collaborative team on a mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve. We take a person centered approach that aims to support and make a positive difference in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. The Overnight Awake Counsellor is responsible for the daily routines of the Adult Residential Program (ARP) and Progressive Assisted Living (PAL) program, and will work with the Program Manager and the Toronto team to ensure the highest quality of care and services for everyone we serve.
