RIT has made sure its campus is safe and accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. This includes specially designed dorm rooms, including strobe fire alarms and doorbells, and visual emergency warning systems present in all academic buildings. RIT Public Safety is easily accessible by phone, text, and blue light security call boxes located around campus.
