The demand for sign language interpreters continues to grow rapidly. With more than 1,100 deaf and hard-of-hearing students and more than 100 deaf and hard-of-hearing faculty and staff members, RIT offers a unique environment to build the knowledge and skills needed for this demanding profession.

Deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students can start their college search this summer by joining us for TGIF at RIT/NTID. Learn about our academic programs, campus life, and the application process. You also will go on a campus and housing tour. Lunch will be provided and admissions counselors will be available to meet with you.

RIT/NTID receives support from the federal government, and as a result, students enrolled in the American Sign Language-English interpretation program pay less than one-half of RIT’s tuition.
