Heather is the Associate Director of Recruitment in NTID’s Office of Admissions. She works with prospective deaf and hard-of-hearing students and their families from New York State and international students, as well as acting as a mentor for the admissions counselors. Her favorite part of being a in Admissions is seeing the look on a student’s face when they realize they’ve found their perfect “fit” at RIT/NTID.

Heather is originally from Rogers, Minnesota. She attended RIT/NTID for her bachelor's and master’s degrees, and says that attending RIT/NTID was one of the best decisions she ever made. “My time as a student here changed my life in so many ways and I am grateful to be a part of the NTID community.”

Aside from traveling, she enjoys RV camping, crafts, home décor, and spending time with her family and her dog, Hershey.
