Katelyn serves as an admissions counselor for the NTID Office of Admissions. She works with prospective deaf and hard-of-hearing high school and transfer students and their families, from the Midwest region of the United States. Katelyn supports students throughout the admissions process, including school visits, application guidance, reviewing materials, and participating in admissions decisions.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2025, where she was highly involved on campus.
Outside of work, she volunteers at the Rochester Deaf Kitchen and enjoys relaxing with a good book on her Kindle, usually with her two cats nearby. Katelyn is passionate about supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing students as they navigate their journey to college and takes pride in connecting them with the wide range of opportunities available at RIT.
