Bio
Dave Putz is a Sr. Marketing and Communications Specialist, where he develops and leads strategic marketing and communications initiatives that support student recruitment, outreach, and engagement efforts. In his role within NTID Communications, Marketing & Multimedia Services (CMMS), Dave provides marketing support for NTID Youth Programs, DeafTEC, the NTID Regional STEM Center, and the NTID Co-op and Career Center. His work includes digital marketing strategy, content creation, social media management, storytelling, video production coordination, and promotional campaign development for a wide range of educational programs and events.
Dave collaborates with departments across RIT/NTID to promote opportunities for deaf and hard-of-hearing middle and high school students in STEM, career exploration, esports, health care, and leadership development. He also leads cross-functional content planning efforts and contributes to institutional recruitment and retention initiatives.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from RIT, with minors in Finance and Political Science, and also earned his MBA from RIT. His academic and professional interests include strategic marketing, competitive strategy, project management, and digital communications.
