I highly encourage any current students to get as many resources as they can to increase their chance of securing a co-op. When they have no work/internship experience, it can be pretty tough to secure a full-time job, but don't ever give up.
My major is Business Administration and it perfectly matches with my co-op. It was a good experience for me to learn the basics of how a business operates and allowed me to seek more opportunities related to my major.
I realized that this school is perfect for me. I learned a lot about myself at RIT/NTID and I encourage everyone who is attending to meet as many people as they can and to be as involved. There is so much to do at RIT/NTID!
When searching for an internship, finding a company in your field and with a culture that fits your ideals and goals is very important. It is also very important to challenge yourself to go out of your comfort zone and gain more valuable experience.
