Department of Deaf Education Faculty present at Association of College Educators–Deaf and Hard of Hearing conference

Chris Kurz, professor; Suryo Sahetapy and Ruth Reyes, lecturers; and Patrick Graham, chair of NTID’s Department of Deaf Education, presented “Teaching the Teachers: A Self-Study of AI Integration in Deaf Education Training,” at the Association of College Educators–Deaf and Hard of Hearing conference, held Jan. 28–31 in Denver. In addition, TJ Sanger II and Jennifer Gentzke, lecturers; Russell West, visiting assistant professor; and Patrick Graham presented “Bridging Preparation and Early-Career Practice: Mentoring Models to Strengthen Teacher Retention in Deaf Education” at the same conference.
