Whyte presents on Deaf representation in social media

Aimee Whyte, senior lecturer in the NTID Department of Liberal Studies’ Community Development and Inclusive Leadership program, presented “Train Gone Sorry: Deaf Representation on Social Media” at the HighEdWeb Annual Conference, held Oct. 8-11 in Buffalo, N.Y. Whyte focused on inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility on social media by highlighting prominent Deaf and DeafBlind activist-influencers and demonstrating best practices.
