Whyte presents dissertation-in-progress poster

Aimee Whyte, senior lecturer in the NTID Department of Liberal Studies, presented her dissertation-in-progress poster "A Phenomenological Study with DeafBlind and Deaf College Students: An Exploration of Experiences with Musicking, Intersectionality, and Meaning-Making," at the Association of College Educators - Deaf and Hard of Hearing 2026 Conference on Jan. 29 in Denver. Whyte’s presentation utilized a phenomenological approach to center the voices of DeafBlind and Deaf students, addressing a critical gap in intersectional research within higher education and musicking.
