Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf is partnering with the Rochester Red Wings baseball team for the third annual Deaf Culture Night at Frontier Field, Friday, Sept. 16.

The RIT men’s lacrosse team has done it again. The team won its second-straight NCAA Division III national title on May 29, beating Union College 12-10.

Three RIT/NTID alumni and one current student-athlete will travel to Caxias do Sul, Brazil, to participate in the 24th Summer Deaflympics, May 1-15. The Summer Deaflympics takes place every four years and is the oldest multi-sport event after the Olympic Games. This year marks the first time the Deaflympics will be held in South America.

The top-seeded RIT (17-1) men's lacrosse team won its 10th straight Liberty League Championship with a 13-5 win over third-seed St. Lawrence (13-4) in Saturday's title game.
