Give your future a test drive
College & Careers is a unique opportunity for you to interact with college faculty, explore career interests, learn something new about yourself, and prepare for your next academic endeavor. This annual program is designed specifically to provide rising high school seniors and their parents the information they need to successfully navigate the college admissions process.
How to participate
This year, College & Careers will be hosted virtually, at no cost to you. From August 3-6, we'll be offering over 70 interactive workshops, presentations, Q&A sessions and more. This experience is for rising high school seniors and designed like a conference. You can register for up to 5 workshops, with sessions designed so you can learn about your area of interest in just two days. Plus join us for optional college planning presentations with your family. Empower yourself and inform your decision-making for the future with RIT, where we're always on to something amazing.
The Experience
Whether you have a specific career in mind or you're simply curious about different degree programs, College & Careers is the perfect place to start. Our interactive workshop sessions let rising high school seniors get a taste for what the college experience is really like. We've also designed college planning presentations for families to help them better understand the college admissions process and all it entails.
The Schedule
College & Careers is designed to be a 2-day conference for rising high school seniors. If you're interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), we recommend workshop sessions on August 3-4. For other areas of study like Art and Design, Business, Humanities and more, we recommend workshop sessions on August 5-6. Register for up to 5 sessions total. Following registration, you will receive email confirmation, and just before the event, links to your Zoom rooms. College planning presentations for students and families are offered every afternoon with no registration required. All workshops and presentations are one hour. Some workshops have limited capacity.
