    Marian Nicoletti to retire after 33 years at RIT

    After a 33-year career at RIT, Marian Nicoletti, assistant vice president and dean of admissions, will retire Sept. 30. A farewell reception in her honor is planned for 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 26, in University Gallery, James E. Booth Hall.

    Record applicant pool signals demographic shifts for RIT

    More women are applying to RIT than ever before, especially in STEM programs. Applications from women were up 13 percent across the board from last year. The surge in women applicants in STEM is helping an overall record year for applications.

    RIT expects to welcome a record-breaking freshman class this fall

    For the second consecutive year, RIT officials anticipate that the university will welcome a record number of first-year undergraduate students. More than 3,350 first-year students have submitted deposits for fall enrollment as of June 1, up from more than 3,130 this time last year.
