After The Charrette

"After The Charrette" is an exhibit highlighting select wearable sculpture designed by first-year students during a weeklong workshop in early October. Each year, hundreds of students in Foundations classes take part in "The Charrette," which challenges them to use various materials to make creative attire inspired by a given theme. At week's end, the designs are worn and showcased at a reception. A number of them are then chosen for inclusion in "After The Charrette," on view from Oct. 11-26 in Bevier Gallery.Bevier Gallery is open from 9 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
