Asian Calligraphy Workshop

 Are you interested in taking a short break from the screen and learning the art of writing? De-stress your mind by attending this artistic workshop on Asian Calligraphy!We are happy to invite you to the Asian Calligraphy Workshop on Friday, Dec. 6th, 10:15-11:30 am @Gosnell Hall, RM2300, RIT. The Calligraphy workshop will be led by Keiko Nishioka, a member of the National Calligraphy Association of Japan. Keiko holds the rank of master or grandmaster in eleven styles of Japanese calligraphy. Her artwork has received numerous awards and prizes and exhibited in the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art. Participants in the workshop will receive one-on-one instruction from Keiko and her students from the University of Rochester. All materials are provided at the workshop free of charge. Seats are limited.
