Audio Description Webinar

Audio description is a service for persons who are blind or low vision which allows them to access the visual experience of live performances and events, exhibits, and/or film, either through live narration or a handheld device. Deborah Lewis, president of Audio Description Solutions, will give an overview of audio description and the three core skills involved. Lewis will come to RIT to provide in-person training March 25-27. The Performing Arts Department at NTID encourages anyone interested in the possibility of becoming a trained audio describer for its performances to attend this introductory webinar. Presented in spoken English with auto-captioning and ASL interpretation. Pre-registration is appreciated!
