Brown Bag Faculty Lecture: Josh Thorson

Josh Thorson, assistant professor in RIT's School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, is presenting as part of the College of Art and Design's weekly Brown Bag Faculty Lecture Series. His talk is scheduled for noon to 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, in William Harris Conference Room (Gannett Hall, 2155).

For the last 10 years, Thorson's practice has included creating original video projections for theater. Last year, he produced the projection designs for the critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning "Oklahoma" — director Daniel Fish’s interpretation of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic 1943 play. For his lecture, Thorson will discuss his theater work.
