Call and Response: Artist Talk + Walkthrough
Join us for an intimate conversation and gallery walkthrough with acclaimed artist Keisha Scarville ('98 BS) and student curator Chinenye Ozowalu ('26 BFA). This special Brick City Weekend event invites audiences into the making of "Call and Response," a photographic exhibition that explores memory, identity, and transformation through the layers of body, time, and landscape.
The artist talk is set for 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, in University Gallery.
Scarville and Ozowalu will reflect on the artistic and curatorial process behind the show, and how visual archives and personal histories inform its power. The exhibition is on view through May 2026 in the RIT Photo Alum Gallery on the 1st Floor of Wallace Library. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with the artist’s work and the emerging curator’s vision in person.
