Catherine Zuromskis, associate professor in RIT's School of Photographic Arts and Sciences, is presenting as part of the College of Art and Design's weekly Brown Bag Faculty Lecture Series. Her talk, titled "My History with Photography," is scheduled for noon to 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, in William Harris Conference Room (Gannett Hall, 2155).

Zuromskis teaches in the MFA in Photography and Related Media. She is the author of Snapshot Photography: The Lives of Images (MIT Press, 2013) and The Factory (La Fabrica, 2012), as well as a co-editor of the forthcoming Wiley-Blackwell Companion to Visual Culture. Her writings on photography, film and visual culture have appeared in Afterimage, Archives of American Art Journal, American Quarterly, Art Journal, Criticism, Los Angeles Review of Books, Photography & Culture, The Velvet Light Trap and various edited volumes.
