CANCELLED: The Edmund Lyon Memorial Lectureship: A Deaf Immigrant’s Journey
Amardeep will share his story from his roots in India, their education system and how he came to the U.S., went to RIT/NTID, then got a job at Verizon Media. He will elaborate on the struggles on his journey along the way to becoming a network operation center engineer and his continuing journey to achieve a green card and eventual U.S. citizenship.
Amardeep Sekhri has earned a certificate in introductory programming, A.O.S. in applied computer technology and B.S. in management information systems.
