CaPS Applied Mindfulness

Join Counseling and Psychological Services this summer on Wednesdays at noon for guided mindfulness practice.

Mindfulness, or more simply, the ability to be more aware in the moment, has become popular in recent years because it helps us to respond more effectively to all of the hard things that happen in our daily lives. Mindfulness practice has been shown to increase our ability to focus, to deal with difficult emotions, and to have more empathy for others and compassion for ourselves. These sessions are are designed to help you manage the challenges we all face as humans so you can get the most out of all the good.

These sessions are open to RIT students, faculty, and staff.
